Laura attended the George Foster Peabody Awards on Monday night. As I’m currently not at home I won’t be able to add photos to the gallery until I get back, but here are some previews:

There still isn’t a European release for The Other Man, but good news for all Americans!

Image Entertainment has acquired all North American rights to “The Other Man,” a thriller starring Liam Neeson, Antonio Banderas and Laura Linney.

Image acquired the film from U.K.-based Rainmark Films. It plans to open the picture theatrically in New York and Los Angeles on Aug. 7, with an expansion planned for Aug. 14. Image also will release the film in the home entertainment market. Hollywood Reporter

It is true that the critics didn’t exactly like the film when it was shown at the Toronto and London filmfestivals, but I’m still fond of it, weak plot notwithstanding. I just wanted to remind you of the videos I took during the Q&A after the screening. Sorry for the poor quality, but I think it’s worth the watch:

Some more infos on The Details have started to surface. It’s gonna be a dark comedy and her co-stars next to James McAvoy will be Anna Friel and Elizabeth Banks. The story concerns a couple, played by McAvoy and Banks, who discover an infestation of raccoons in their back yard. Disagreements over how to deal with the animals lead to an escalating series of events. This should be fun!

Looks like Laura has signed up for another project this year. Not much info has leaked so far other than the title The Details, her co-star James McAvoy, the director Jacob Aaron Estes and that shooting is scheduled for this summer in Seattle. Exciting!

Another update while the old layout is still up, I haven’t quite got around to finishing it yet. But I wanted to bring you the latest photos anyway. Laura attended the off-Broadway opening of Mary Stuart yesterday. The woman looks beautiful even without make-up. Also in attendance was Liam Neeson with what was his first public appearance since Natasha passed away last month. Sadly, there are no photos of them together to be found, but I can make up for that with a brand-new still from The Other Man with Liam and Romola Garai that has surfaced recently. Still no news on the release date of this film.
