On Friday night Laura was awarded the Ken Burns Lifetime Achievement Award for her role as Abigail Adams in last year’s HBO production John Adams. The award is given out to people who made a significant contribution to the arts through a history related project. Congratulations, Laura!
I only found 2 small photos of the event, but I added the to the gallery nonetheless.

The talk is also that Laura is involved in a new project called Morning in which she will team up with her Juilliard-roommate Jeanne Tripplehorn.

Tripplehorn will portray a mother coping with the loss of her child, with Linney as the grief counselor enlisted to help her deal with the mourning process.

I started with the movie and TV section the other week and now I moved on to the appearances: all tagged and watermarked photos were replaced by better quality photos. On top of that, a lot of photos were added that were completely new to me. Laura reportedly attended the services for Natasha last Friday as well as yesterday’s funeral along with Natasha’s family and friends.

I have just heard that Natasha Richardson, Laura’s good friend and wife of Liam Neeson, her co-star of several times, died yesterday of brain injuries suffered in a skiing accident this Tuesday.
My thoughts are with her family and friends.
She will be much missed, not just in the theatre world.

I’m writing today to inform you of my decision to close the forums. They have been inactive for a long time now and I’ve run out of ideas how to spark conversations.
If there is any real interest by any member to keep the community alive, please step forward and share your ideas on how we could revive the forums.
If I don’t hear back from you within a month, I will close the forums. Afterwards you’ll all be welcome to share your opinion via comments in the new script I will be installing at the main page soon.
